Terms of service.
Last updated: 2026-09-16
1. Who we are
This messaging service is operated by Chargia Mobility, S.L. (“Chargia”, “we”, “us”), CIF B21980024, registered office at C/ Castellana 81, 28046 Madrid, Spain.
You can contact us at support@hellochargia.com.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms govern your use of the Chargia messaging service: the conversations you have with us through messaging channels such as Apple Messages for Business and WhatsApp.
They do not replace:
- our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data;
- our Legal Notice, which governs use of our website;
- the terms and conditions of the charging services themselves, which govern any charging session, payment or invoice.
By starting or continuing a conversation with us, you accept these Terms.
3. What the service does
Through this channel you can, among other things, report a problem with a charge point, start and monitor a charging session, find charge points or plan a route, and request an invoice.
The service is provided by an automated assistant. The assistant identifies itself as automated at the start of every conversation.
You can always reach a person. Write “agent”, “support” or “help” at any point and we will transfer you to a human agent. The assistant also transfers you automatically when it cannot resolve your request.
Human agents are available Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (Europe/Madrid). Outside those hours the assistant will tell you when a person will reply.
4. Not an emergency channel
This service is not for emergencies. If there is a fire, an electrical hazard, a risk to people, or any other emergency at a charge point, call the emergency services on 112 immediately. Do not wait for a reply in this conversation.
5. The messaging platforms
Conversations take place inside third-party applications (Apple Messages, WhatsApp). Those applications are provided by Apple and Meta respectively, under their own terms, and those companies are not a party to these Terms and are not responsible for the service we provide.
We do not charge you for messages. Your mobile operator or internet provider may charge you for data, according to your own contract.
6. How you may use the service
You agree to use the service lawfully and in good faith, and not to:
- send unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harassing content;
- impersonate another person or provide details you are not entitled to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use the channel for advertising, spam or automated mass messaging.
We may end a conversation, and if necessary restrict access to the channel, where these rules are breached.
7. Stopping messages and deleting your data
You can stop receiving messages at any time by writing “unsubscribe”. We will confirm and stop sending messages; you can resume whenever you want by writing to us again.
To request deletion of your personal data, write “forget me” or contact us at support@hellochargia.com. This is separate from stopping messages.
8. Personal data
We process the personal data you share in these conversations in order to provide support and the services you request. Conversations are stored as a record of the support provided, and to meet our legal obligations.
Full details — legal basis, retention periods, recipients, and how to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability — are in our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of incidents affecting us or the messaging platforms. We are not liable for damage arising from such unavailability, except where Spanish law does not allow that limitation.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. If a change is significant we will say so in the channel.
11. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by Spanish law.
If you are a consumer, nothing here limits the rights you have under consumer protection law, and you may bring any dispute before the courts of your place of residence. You can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
